Questions buyers ask

Can't find what you need? Message us on WhatsApp or email, and we'll reply with specifics for your product, grade and port.

Are you a manufacturer?

No. Vardhan Exim is a merchant exporter. Our coco pith (coco peat) comes from a trusted partner with its own manufacturing unit in South India, and our turmeric from a trusted partner with its own processing unit. Our team handles the quote, coordination, documents and communication with you.

How quickly will you reply?

Our team responds to every enquiry within 48 hours, by email or WhatsApp.

What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

Regular orders are quoted per 20' or 40' container. For coco peat, you can start with a small trial shipment before container orders; quantity and terms are discussed per enquiry.

Can I get a sample?

Yes, samples can be arranged on request. Coco peat samples are typically 5 kg per product and free of charge; courier on the buyer’s DHL / FedEx account. Turmeric sample size and terms are agreed per enquiry.

Can you match our exact specification?

Tell us your requirement. For coco peat: EC / pH, washing or buffering, block, brick or bag size, chip : pith ratio and packing. For turmeric: form, finish, curcumin range, moisture, mesh size and packing. We check it with the relevant partner and tell you what can be matched before you order.

Which curcumin grades can you offer for turmeric?

Tell us the curcumin range your market or process needs. We look for a lot that meets that spec and share the figures before you order. We do not quote a fixed grade without knowing your requirement.

How is turmeric packed?

Turmeric fingers are packed in PP or jute bags. Powder is supplied in bulk bags or in retail packs. Bag size, inner liners, marking and labelling are agreed to your spec.

Which aflatoxin and pesticide limits do you work to?

Those of your destination market or your own specification. Limits differ, for example between EU, US and Gulf markets, so we confirm the applicable standard with you before quoting.

Which Incoterms and ports do you quote?

FOB Indian port or CIF your destination port, under Incoterms 2020, in USD. Coco peat typically ships from Tuticorin (Thoothukudi) or Cochin (Kochi), close to South India's coir hubs. For turmeric, the port is confirmed with each quote.

What are your payment terms and lead time?

Both are agreed per order, depending on product, grade, packing and production schedule, and confirmed on the proforma invoice.

Which documents come with a shipment?

Commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin, plus a phytosanitary certificate where the destination requires it. Any other destination-specific documents are discussed before we quote.
